Double or Nothing

Ok... lets start this new year off right!! Gambling for my 21st!!!

The Challenge

So my first challenge of the new year is going to be some fun. My mission, should I choose to accept it:

Double $100 in the course of a month simply by trading securities on an online trading account.

I will begin on Tuesday and give you closing updates each week to let you know how far up (or down) I am. I will also keep a log of all transactions. Taxes will not be taken into account for the final amount.

I will spend tomorrow trying to work out my trading platform - because I am using such a small amount, I will likely have to buy only fractions of some securities in order to do so, but I will give you all an update after day 1.

Outlook

I am probably over confident, but I am truly optimistic. Especially in the face of the super happy stock market (stonks!), I'm relatively unworried about making a good return. Whether or not I can 2x it, I'm not entirely sure. I will definitely be adopting a zero risk aversion mind set, so that'll definitely be a change from my usual.
